Astro Chemical Company, Inc. was founded in 1959 as a
formulator and manufacturer of epoxies for applications in the
power generation industry. The company’s Founder and first
President, Malcolm M. Bard, brought to Astro
Chemical over twenty years of experience working in General
Electric Company’s Insulating Materials Department. Astro
Chemical's first manufactured products were used in the
manufacture and repair of large rotating machinery such as electric
motors and power generating equipment.
Since then, the scope of Astro Chemical's
business has expanded to offer comprehensive epoxy-related solutions,
both within the power generation industry and beyond.
Today, with over 45 years experience in the formulation, manufacture,
and delivery of epoxy resin systems, specialty coatings, and
potting compounds, Astro Chemical continues
